Process

Custom Ring Process

Eight steps, two approvals

Every STELLIVON ring is made to order. You approve your design twice before anything is made: once as a sketch, and again as a factory CAD drawing.

  1. Design in the builder. Choose a setting, a lab-grown diamond, your metal and ring size (shown in US and HK sizes).
  2. Confirm your sketch (approval 1). Review the line-drawing sketch and design sheet, then tick "I approve this sketch".
  3. Deposit / checkout. Pay securely, with guest checkout available. A 75% deposit is taken at checkout; the balance is due after you approve the CAD.
  4. Factory CAD. Our workshop prepares a CAD rendering with top, perspective, front and side views, dimensions, metal weight and a stone specification.
  5. Approve the CAD (approval 2). We email the CAD to you. Production starts only after you approve it. If you decide not to proceed at this point, your deposit is refundable. Changes are welcome at this stage.
  6. Production. Casting, setting and polishing take about 20 calendar days after CAD approval.
  7. Quality check + IGI. We inspect the finished ring and match the center stone to its IGI grading report.
  8. Ship. Fully insured delivery with signature required.

Good to know

  • Final sale. Custom and made-to-order pieces cannot be returned once production has started. That is why we ask for two approvals.
  • Resizing. One size change is free (you cover shipping). A change of up to 2 Hong Kong sizes is possible but requires a new band, charged separately; your centre diamond is reused.

How your band and setting are made

Every STELLIVON ring is cast in 18K white gold and finished by hand: the band (shank) and the setting (head) are made separately, then joined and set.
