Size & Fit

Prepare a size, not a guess.

You can start with an unknown size. Before approval, identify the sizing system and confirm the fit for the proposed ring.

Identify the system
State whether a size is US, UK, EU or another system. The numbered preference controls use US sizes; mention another system in your message rather than entering an unlabelled number.
Consider the combination
Mention the intended finger, band width and any rings worn alongside it. A comfortable fit for one ring does not settle the proposed combination.
Leave it open when needed
Choose “Help me measure” and discuss professional measurement before approving the size. Screen drawings are not measuring tools. Ask what resizing is possible for the actual design before committing.

Choose size with care

A professional in-person measurement is the most reliable starting point for a ring intended to be made for you. Fingers can change with temperature, time of day, activity, and fit preference, while a ring's width and setting can alter how it feels. Online guides can help you begin a conversation, but they cannot guarantee a final size.

Before approval

  • Tell us how the ring should feel in everyday wear and whether it is a surprise.
  • Share a recent professional measurement when available.
  • Let us know about a wider band, an eternity-style design, or other features that may affect fit.
  • Review the size shown in your sketch and CAD, in both US and Hong Kong sizes, before you give approval 2.

Because custom rings are final sale and resizing is limited, please do not rely on a self-cut paper strip or an estimated conversion as a guaranteed measurement. We will discuss the selected design and the information you provide, but the final proposal should be checked carefully before approval.

Everyday care

Remove fine jewelry for vigorous exercise, impact-prone work, swimming, and household chemicals. Store pieces separately to reduce scratching. A soft brush, mild soap, and warm water can be suitable for routine cleaning when used gently; avoid harsh abrasives and do not force a setting or clasp.

Service requests

Prongs, settings, and metal surfaces benefit from periodic professional inspection. A finished ring can return to our workshop for a size change where the design allows. One size change is free (you cover shipping). A change of up to 2 Hong Kong sizes is possible but requires a new band, charged separately; your centre diamond is reused. If you need a size adjustment, repair, or have a concern about workmanship, please begin at Contact. We will review the piece and provide the appropriate route and proposal before any service is arranged.

Care & service

Service begins with the specific piece

Fine jewelry is personal and mechanical at once. A ring's metal, setting style, stone dimensions, wear history, and previous alterations all affect what service is appropriate. We review these details before recommending a resize, repair, inspection, or other work.

What we can assess

  • Questions about fit: One size change is free (you cover shipping). A change of up to 2 Hong Kong sizes is possible but requires a new band, charged separately; your centre diamond is reused.
  • Visible concerns with workmanship, stone setting, metal, or the delivered order.
  • Repair or maintenance requests after everyday wear or accidental damage.
  • Existing proposals and the records needed to identify the stone and design version.

Clear route, clear proposal

Please contact us before sending any item back. We will confirm the correct route, information needed for assessment, and the applicable order terms. Do not send a piece independently. Where service is possible, we will explain the proposed work, expected timing, and any applicable charge before work is authorized. A request does not itself guarantee that a resize or repair is suitable or available for every design. Custom pieces are final sale, so service is offered as resizing, repair or remake rather than return.

When something is wrong

If an item appears defective, incorrect, not as described, or was not shipped as required, contact us promptly with the order details and clear photographs where possible. We will review the concern and provide an appropriate next step. Nothing in this page limits rights available under applicable law. For all care and service requests, start through Contact.
